Please pray for the soul of our dear sister Monica Cecily Pau who died in Mount Alvernia Hospital, Singapore on Tuesday 6th October 2015. Her Requiem Mass was celebrated on 8th October in St Francis Convent, Singapore followed by cremation. May she rest in peace.
The Novitiate in Guildford, England has come to its full circle! In 1936 our Congregation opened its Novitiate house in Guildford (named Mount Alvernia) Today, 70 years later it became a Novitiate once again. Please pray for the soul of our dear sister Mairead Hynes who died peacefully on Sunday 20th September 2015 aged 99 yrs. La Verna, Ladywell Convent, Godalming, UK. Requiem Mass was said in Ladywell Chapel on 30th September 2015 followed by burial in Ladywell Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
