“FMDM Mission is not to lands but to people.” Sharing of our lives as missionaries.
GROUP PHOTOS according to the countries FMDM Sisters (from England-Scotland Region) had been missioned to.
At our Chapter of Mats we took the opportunity to take group photos according to the countries our sisters had been missioned to, over their many years of life in the Congregation. These pictures, of course, do not tell the full story, nor do they include all the sisters who had been in these countries but they capture something of the richness of missionary experience amongst us. They also capture something of the many relationships that have been forged through sharing life and all its challenges and joys in so many different parts of the world.
Countries represented are in this group photos are: Papua New Guinea, Rome, Australia, Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe, USA, New Zealand, Jordan, Gaza and Bethlehem. Other countries not in the group photo are Syracuse and Gibraltar. England is also a country where many sisters have been missioned to. (The group photo is in our Chapter of Mats article.)
Although a relatively small Congregation, FMDMs have served worldwide. As we gathered for the photographs we felt connected with all our sisters who have served in the various missions.
