‘Street Angel’ Sr. Maria Kiely receives Queen’s Award in Guildford
On Sunday 18 October at 6pm, the Church of St Nicolas in Guildford was filled with past and present Street Angels and Voluntary Chaplains to witness the presentation of the HM Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee Award for Voluntary Service.
Rod Boreham, Guildford Town Centre Chaplain led a very inspiring service during which HM Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, Mr Michael More-Molyneux presented the Award to Fiona Ford, Guildford Street Angels’ Coordinator.
CONGRATULATIONS to Sr Maria Kiely FMDM, Jenny Ellsely (staff in La Verna, Ladywell) and all the Street Angels in Guildford.
