Roots for the Future Project

Roots for the future 1403019On 14 March 2019, 31 children and 6 adults (4 teachers, 2 roots for the future, 2 estates team) and some Sisters did the ‘tree planting’ called ROOTS FOR THE FUTURE. It was great to see the Y5 children learning to care for our Mother Earth.

The species they planted were: Dogrose, Birch cherry, Plum cherry, Rowan, Spindle. These will look lovely together and are good for wildlife. To read more click here Roots for the Future Project
