“We Ring the Bell” for Little Assisi in Zambia

“We Ring The Bell” is a fairly universal way of raising awareness for any cause. On 22 March 2017 in Lusaka Zambia, many gathered in the middle of the N’gombe market near Little Assisi (a school for children with disabilities) for the “We Ring The Bell” day. Instruments of all kinds were used to create noise such as bells, drums, anything really to create as much noise as possible for one minute! Little Assisi gets some funding from the Dutch Liliane Foundation which helps tremendously towards the education for children with disabilities. FMDM Sisters, staff from Little Assisi and the locals gathered on this day to give voice to our children who are not allowed or able to go to school because of their disability.
