Heritage Open Day at Ladywell

A warm welcome to all our vistors

On 15 September 2018 from 2 – 4pm, Ladywell Convent open its door to visitors who wish to view the buildings. This event is organised by The Godalming Trust. Visitors had to book through the Godalming Museum for free entry to Ladywell. FMDM Sisters welcomed three groups of 12 visitors for the tour. The event began with a slide show of the history of Ladywell by Sr Frances Hall. After which, each group had a guided tour by an FMDM Sister. Although many visitors live near Ladywell, many have not visited the house and they were very interested to hear about the lives of the sisters. We are happy to share this event with our visitors and hope that they will experience the peace and tranquility of the house.
