Golden Jubilee celebration in Singapore

In religious life, a Jubilee marks a significant milestone and the best way to mark this occasion is by celebrating the Eucharist – the supreme act of thanksgiving.

Congratulations to Sister Angeline Lim who celebrated her Golden Jubilee on 29 September 2023 in Singapore. FMDM Sisters, family members, colleagues and friends joined in the celebration which began with the Eucharist held in Assisi Hospice Chapel. Fr Andrew Wong was the main celebrant and Friar William Lee OFM was the concelebrant. This was followed by a buffet dinner held in the Essery Hall (next to the chapel).

“On this day, I joyfully renewed my religious commitment made 50 years ago, in the loving presence of the FMDM sisters, priests, families, friends, colleagues and various communities that I am actively serving. I am grateful to God for the gift to live out the FMDM charism with patience, joy, and perseverance. And I am grateful to the communities that have shaped me for who I am today. May God grant me perseverance to be faithful in living out the Mission of Presence in my remaining years.” – Sister Angeline
