Golden Jubilarians celebration in Ladywell

Congratulations to our Golden Jubilarians 

On Saturday 4th August 2018, five Golden Jubilarians had a joint celebration in our Motherhouse at Ladywell Convent – Sisters Shirley (Mills), Anne (O’Brien), Athi (Athanasius Gleavey), Cathy (Catherine Lai) and Maureen (Halley). The celebration began with Eucharistic Celebration held in Ladywell Chapel at 11.30am with over 100 guests – which included relatives and friends of the Jubilarians and FMDM Sisters. This was followed by a sumptuous lunch, cutting of the Jubilee cake, speeches and a relaxed time for the Jubilarians to spend the afternoon with their relative and friends. The glorious summer day made the joyous occasion extra special. We thank God for the lives of our Jubilarians who have reached this golden milestone and for their faithfulness in living their consecrated lives as FMDM Sisters.
