Chapter Happenings No 13

On Tuesday 22 May 2019, the work of the Chapter was completed when the members finalised the Chapter Message. This was followed by a closing liturgy when the Prayer Space in the Chapter room was dismantled and the Cross, candle and cloths were solemnly processed to the Chapel led by Sr Oneng Mendoza, Angelin Gnanapiragasam, Martha Musonda, Rogita Bonaventure, Jacinta Kow. At 5 pm we gathered in the Chapel for Mass. At the end of Mass, we had a ‘sending forth’ ceremony when each member called out the name of the person they had picked (and prayed for) during the opening of the Chapter.

At supper, we had a celebratory meal followed by an Irish Blessing from Sisters Anna and Margaret Rose to the Chapter Members. The next morning, everyone vacated their room and took to the road for their respective destinations. To read more, click here Chapter Happenings No 13
