Golden Jubilee Celebration

Congratulations Sr Kay 

On Saturday, 9th October 2021 the celebration of Sr Kay O’Neil’s Golden Jubilee of Religious Life was held at Rieti Convent in Lusaka, Zambia.  Fr Andrew Simpasa SJ and Fr Augustine Mwape OFM Capuchin were the celebrants for the Jubilee Mass. FMDM Southern Africa –  Zambia were very happy that some sisters from Kasanka Mission and Lusaka, together with some friends were able to gather for this joyful celebration. Due to the pandemic, some sisters were not able to be present for this celebration but they were present in spirit!

After Mass, the verandah at Reiti Convent was transformed into a “banquet hall” for a special lunch followed by the cutting of the Jubilee cake by Sr Kay.  We thank God for a truly happy and memorable day.

Sr Kay expressed her deep gratitude and thanks to FMDM Southern Africa who made this celebration possible with the help of Mission Partners and friends. Congratulations Sr Kay for reaching this Golden Milestone!
