Obituary ~ Sister Ita Mary Sutherland FMDM

Please pray for the soul of our dear Sr Ita who died on 21st January 2026 after a long illness, aged 87 years, at Franciscan Convent, Ballinasloe, Co Galway, Ireland.

We thank sincerely everyone who cared so gently and professionally for her over the past years.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in Franciscan Convent Chapel, Ballinasloe followed by burial at Creagh Cemetery, Ballinasloe on 23rd January 2026

May her soul now rest in everlasting peace.
