Happy Feast of St. Francis
“I have done what is mine to do. May Christ teach you what is yours”. St. Francis of Assisi. (2 Celano 214)
The highlight of the Feast Day celebration is on 3rd October when Franciscans worldwide gather to commemorate the passing (death) of St. Francis. This Franciscan devotion is called the ‘Transitus’. 4th October is the day the Church sets aside to celebrate the life of St. Francis of Assisi.
A very Happy Feast Day to all our Franciscan brothers and sisters.
