INTERNATIONAL FRANCISCAN CONFERENCE OF THE BROTHERS AND SISTERS OF THE THIRD ORDER REGULAR IN ASSISI

On 7 – 13 May 2017, Sr. Monica Weedon represented FMDM Congregation when she attended the Franciscan International Conference held in Assisi. There were 111 participants from all corners of the globe – the languages of the Assembly were English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.

“It was a wonderful gathering of Franciscans sharing stories of our shared joys and struggles living our TOR charism in today’s world”. (Sr. Monica Weedon).

Reflecting on our theme “Make a dwelling”, Sr. Ramona Miller gave an input on the four values of the Third Order Regular Rule: Evangelical Conversion, Prayer, Poverty, and Humility.
